This could be due to varying preferences and consumption patterns in these countries, such as the preference for larger single servings of coffee in the U.S. compared to smaller, more frequent servings in Europe.

Denmark has the highest average coffee price at $5.40, a reflection of its high living costs and taxation. Other European countries, like Switzerland, Norway, Finland, and Sweden, have similar rates due to their high living costs and preference for specialty coffee. Ethiopia and Colombia, two major coffee producers, have some of the lowest prices, which can be attributed to their favorable coffee-growing conditions and economic landscapes.

In the United States, the average price of coffee is $4.69, due to the country's high living standards and increasing demand for specialty coffee. In contrast, nations with developing economies, like Uganda, Haiti, and El Salvador, have lower prices, but the affordability is not necessarily reflected in their relative income levels.

The global coffee trade has an impact on prices too; Brazil and Vietnam, for example, have coffee prices that reflect their significant production capabilities and influence on market prices. This information shows that a variety of factors, including global trade policies, cultural trends, and economic conditions, affect the price of coffee.

Luxembourg notably leads with the highest lifetime coffee expenditure at $425,618. This substantial amount results from a combination of high coffee consumption, amounting to 118,227 cups, and a relatively high price per cup at $3.60. This indicates not only a strong coffee culture in Luxembourg but also a significant financial investment in this daily habit.

In contrast, Denmark and Switzerland, while having lower total coffee consumption compared to others, still see high lifetime spending due to their premium pricing per cup, at $5.40 and $5.00 respectively. This scenario highlights how higher prices, possibly influenced by living costs and a preference for luxury coffee experiences, can considerably elevate overall lifetime expenditure on coffee.

Hawaii has the highest per capita and total lifetime coffee consumption at 2.7 cups per day and 57,159 cups over a lifetime, respectively. This is mirrored in their highest lifetime expenditure of $266,933, which reflects the strong coffee culture in the state. On the other hand, Mississippi has the lowest daily consumption of 0.7 cups, a lifetime count of 14,819 cups, and the lowest lifetime expenditure of $61,054.

In addition, Alaska has the most expensive coffee at $4.73 per cup while Maine has the most affordable coffee at $3.52 per cup, indicating a large variation in coffee pricing between states.

California has the highest total coffee consumption with 245,381,424 KG, likely due to its large population size. Wyoming, with a much smaller population, has the lowest total coffee consumption at 3,785,425 KG.

An analysis of the correlation between per capita coffee consumption and life expectancy across countries indicates a moderately positive correlation of around 0.577, suggesting there exists a slightly strong correlation between the two metrics.

Due to the moderately strong correlation, performing RA on those metrics suggests that each additional kilogram of coffee consumed per person annually could potentially raise life expectancy by 1.22%.
